About

I am pursuing my PhD under supervision of Prof. Dr. Christoph Hanck at the Chair of Econometrics, University of Duisburg-Essen. In my research, I am interested in developing econometric methods at the intersection of statistical learning and causal inference to quantify treatment effect heterogeneity and improve targeted policy learning. Moreover, I am associated with the Ruhr Graduate School in Economics (RGS Econ) and the Rhine-Ruhr Center for Scientific Data Literacy (DKZ.2R). Additionally, I organize and teach workshops as a certified Carpentries Instructor.
